Isaiah 23:12-14

New International Version

¹² He said, “No more of your reveling,^(A)
    Virgin Daughter^(B) Sidon, now crushed!

“Up, cross over to Cyprus;^(C)
    even there you will find no rest.”
¹³ Look at the land of the Babylonians,^[a](D)
    this people that is now of no account!
The Assyrians^(E) have made it
    a place for desert creatures;^(F)
they raised up their siege towers,^(G)
    they stripped its fortresses bare
    and turned it into a ruin.^(H)

¹⁴ Wail, you ships^(I) of Tarshish;^(J)
    your fortress is destroyed!^(K)
